Our Rescue
Our love for animals is the reason we started this rescue. Each time we take our dogs for their check ups, we visit the humane society, and cringe when we see so many animals in such desperate need of help. We resolved to do everything we could.
Cindy's K-9 Angels has no paid employees. We are all-volunteer. All donations and support go directly to the care and placement of our rescued Angels. Due to space limitations, we are only able to accommodate animals weighing 25 pounds or less.
Adoption fees, donations and other support provide the following care and services for our rescued Angels:
- Veterinary care (injuries, ailments, etc)
- Food, medicine and other consumables
- Spay/neuter
- Vaccinations
- Bio Spot (fleas/ticks/mosquitos)
- Heartworm tests/treatment
- Fecal exam/treatment
- Dental (cleaning and tooth removal, if necessary)
- Microchipping
- Collar
- Cindy's K-9 Angels ID tag
- Grooming
- Anything else the animal requires
- Other overhead expenses
Veterinary Services
All rescued Angels, as well as our personal pets, receive veterinary care from Orr Animal Hospital in Cumming. Since 1990, we have entrusted the care of all our animals to Dr. Nathan Orr and his staff.
Dr. Orr helped us start this rescue and continues to help us with each rescued Angel he and his staff treat. The quality of care and personal attention simply can't be beat.
To Dr. Orr and the staff at Orr Animal Hospital: Thank you and keep up the great work! We love you!
